“These come to me as being in the world of social consciousness and self-correcting my part in it. Thanks for enabling these courses.”
“I really love the spiritual topic this month. It is helping me so much. Truly helping me to heal.”
“Empathy and compassion... this is the second time this topic has been explored in CC. Seeing the growth in myself, the team, and the membership as a whole was very inspiring and confirmed that this is beautiful and important work we are all doing.”
“We are all on our own unique journey. You will all be highly developed and advanced in ways that other people aren't, and you will have areas to learn that other people can teach you or share with you. And I think that's wonderful. Don't ever feel less than anyone else.”
“The foundational spiritual topics are so poignant with our new members, many of whom are beginning their awakening spiritual journey... (Thank you Becky nd Chris)... The excitement of this awakening is so wonderful to see.”
“Thank Heaven's for CC... sometimes I must distance myself from these illusions in order to see peace.”
“Our MST's (Monthly Spiritual Topics) strip away the masks that people have to get to their real identity and come face to face with who they are - authenticity can shine through then, but it takes courage and hard work.”
“These topics help me focus on internal rather than external. It's a positive distraction from the chaos going on around us.”
“It has been so interesting to repeat the basic spiritual topics. It becomes very clear how much people have evolved since the first round. There is an incredible vulnerability, reflection and depth coming out this time. In order to strengthen vulnerability and reflection further, we have created a section where people have the opportunity to tell their life story if they want. How did they get here? What challenges have there been? And how have they grown? This gives us an opportunity to get to know each other better, better understand and show compassion. They all love it. We do 2 at a time; it seems like a good way to walk the talk.”

In the last topic, we focused on spiritual virtues. In this month’s topic, we are expanding from virtues to personal values.
As a reminder, the primary difference between virtues and values is that virtues are universally held standards of high moral value, whereas values are principles or qualities that an individual considers to be important and desirable, which may or may not be of high morals. Values depend on the beliefs, experiences, and the ‘raising/programming’ of an individual and, therefore, differ from person to person and even throughout an individual’s life.
Babies and children absorb the virtues and values from those around them. They mimic behaviour which affects their development. This is part of the environmental factors that shape every human being, with nurture playing its part alongside nature. When children become teenagers, their natural inclination is to rebel, test boundaries, and see how they fit into life and how they can make their mark. Their identity is shifting from the values of the family and external influences to developing their own self-identity. As a teenager matures and reaches adulthood, their core values, which are their foundation values, may stabilize and solidify.

What are the Monthly Spiritual Topics (MST)?
We create new spiritual topics each month. Coordinators use these topics to facilitate discussions to give members the opportunity to talk about real-life situations and to share insights, ideas and strategies. The spiritual topics are posted on CC’s internal social connecting platform where members from around the world engage in conversation and share personal thoughts. These topics are designed to give points of discussion around self-awareness and spiritual development to enable and empower each of us to become the best version of who we are!
Aims of the MSTs
We are all on a unique journey to grow and find greater meaning, purpose, and joy in life. To do this entails a deep focus on one’s inner self. As 13th-century Persian poet, Rumi, stated, “Everything in the universe is within you. Ask all from yourself.”
To this end, the Monthly Spiritual Topics are designed to help members:
- Know themselves better (self-realisation)
- Connect with their inner wisdom
- Develop conscious focus and intent
- Live from a heart-centered space
- Express compassion and be in service to everyone
- Align with their Higher/Divine Self
- Manifest positive change for themselves and the collective
Objectives of the MSTs
The Monthly Spiritual Topic process was created to serve two primary objectives: To offer spiritual dialogue and education for members and to provide Coordinators with relevant topic materials to facilitate engaging member discussions. This saves time for Coordinators who no longer need to search for topics and find materials to present. It also gives Coordinators the opportunity to further develop their facilitation skills.
